Foster partner for pretty Connamara trotter mix mare - I am looking for a foster partner for my 9 year old, 1.47 cm tall mare Ginny.
The mare lives near Camburg and is looking forward to varied work such as lunging, learning tricks, pole work or ground work. She is lovely to handle, but has a strong character and is not a beginner or re-starter horse and still has a lot to learn. You should therefore be confident in dealing with horses and also be able to deal with the fact that a horse sometimes has a little more temperament or makes the odd jump. She is never mischievous, but sometimes a little jumpy and therefore needs someone who can reassure her from the ground that everything is alright. She needs clear but fair instructions.
Who I am looking for: You are at least 18 years old, reliable, honest, take good care of the horse and equipment, small stable tasks such as preparing feed or mucking out the paddock / box should be a matter of course on your days.
You are welcome to come several times a week. As my mare is very people-oriented and also needs some time to trust new people, I am looking for someone who is interested and has time to spend with her in the long term. I would accept 80€ per month for the grooming share.
Please note: I am currently only looking for a foster rider, i.e. the horse can be worked with from the ground in a variety of ways. Riding is not possible at the moment. Riding might be possible later if you are a good rider, not too tall and have the time.
