I am offering my Trakehner gelding Donausturm for sale.
Pedigree (sire: Grimani / dam: Donaublume) He is 9 years old and has a height of approx. 1.65.
Donny is not a BEGINNER/STUDENT or CHILDREN'S HORSE!!!
He needs a consistent, but loving hand and someone who takes a lot of time to understand him and who gives him a lot of mental exercise. Preferably with young horse experience, as he is a little baby in the head despite his 9 years.
According to previous information, he was broken in gently and appropriately for his age at his breeder. He walked, trotted and cantered under the rider. Unfortunately, Donny had some bad experiences in the meantime and was re-accustomed to riding by his previous owner. However, I did not ride him myself.
He really enjoys ground work, where he is very motivated and attentive. We have taken Donny for walks, where he is well-behaved if you give him the necessary security. (He's not too keen on cows) Donny is absolutely not sensitive and walks barehoof without any problems.
Unfortunately, we have to give Donny away as we don't have the opportunity to exercise him as much as he needs here at the stables. We would like to find Donny a home in an open stable or at least all-day paddock access in a herd. He currently only has one colleague here at the stable and he gets stressed as soon as he is taken out of his box, which is why a larger herd is certainly the better option for him.
He had his teeth done last month and has already had osteopathic treatment twice this year to release blockages.
