Pretty 6 year old Paint Horse gelding for ambitious leisure rider - I am looking for a suitable new home for this handsome Paint Horse gelding born in 2019.
Trav, as I call him, is... * attentive and willing to learn both on the ground and under saddle * calm and strong nerves, even in the field. When he gets spooked, he just flinches * affectionate and cuddly * confident in all basic gaits * masters lateral movements, traversal, backwards, forehand work, hindquarters work, position and bending * knows pole work and cross-country
Trav is currently being trained in a variety of ways, whether under saddle or on the ground. Until recently he was still shod at the front. He is currently barehoof and works well with his good hoof quality. He does not suffer from eczema, has no laminitis and no respiratory problems. Vaccinated ✅️ Dewormed ✅️ Dentally checked ✅️ Traveler has a slight spavin on both hocks. (Current x-rays available) Does not restrict him at all. Trav would be ideal for an ambitious leisure rider looking for a buddy for healthy work in the arena or some fun in the field. He would be perfect for lots of grazing with buddies, as he is very social and does not have a high rank. He is currently in a paddock box. I can also imagine him in an open stable.
