English thoroughbred mare for sale - I am selling my mare because we are switching to other disciplines. Siberia will be 10 years old in April. I bought her when she was 4.5 years old. She is 161/162 m. Before I owned her, she raced successfully (galloping). I trained her myself for my own purposes. This was only for leisure purposes. It has now come about that my husband has obtained his carriage driving license and therefore needs a horse. I would also like to get back into show jumping. Due to time and space constraints, I can't train Siberia in the disciplines. I have practiced light jumping, but she refuses more than she jumps. For these reasons, I have not pursued jumping any further. Siberia's nickname with us is Siri. She is still a typical thoroughbred and therefore has a lot of go. I only ride her on the cross-country course. I ride her alone 99% of the time. She probably has a lot of potential for dressage, but I haven't encouraged this. As I can only ride her a maximum of 2-3 times a week at the moment, she is extremely underchallenged. She lives in our open stable. In winter she has free access to the large paddock and in summer she is out in the pasture 24/7. We also have hay available 24/7. Before Siri was in my possession, she was in a box. So she knows both stabling options. Siri is a free rider. She has NO health problems as a result. She DOES NOT stop when ridden. She is completely focused. She also had a pasture accident about 8 years ago which required surgery. She has three screws on the left front. This was still with the previous owner. I ride her normally, as if nothing was wrong, as the screws have no effect. I also had this x-rayed 1.5 years ago. Everything was OK. You can read a lot about an operated fissure on the internet. Many horses even still go to show jumping competitions. I actually wanted to breed a foal from her 3 years ago, but this didn't work out for personal reasons. The Oldenburg Breeding Association would accept Siberia into the breeding association without any problems. Because that's where we would have her registered.
A video on the double lunge can be sent. A test ride is possible.
