Unfortunately, my mare's back is so wide that the Velcro opens and rubs. I have now tried the Edix. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit as it is anatomically shaped and therefore clings to the saddle at the fork. As a result, my cold-blooded horse has too little spinal freedom and gets edema on the spine when riding. Really stupid, such a great and beautiful pad. I am desperate and hope that someone else will enjoy it. The sweat has already slightly discolored the coat and there is also discoloration on the girth. Unfortunately it is a used item but if you want to take a look at it, you will see that it is as good as new. No negotiation, fixed price incl. shipping. The underside is lined with high-quality, antibacterial merino wool. The wool regulates heat and moisture and improves pressure distribution. The upper side of the pad has a quilted, double-stitched fabric. Depending on the batch, without Velcro. The new batches are produced without Velcro so that the shims can be replaced more easily.
