I am looking for a long-term foster partner for my 2 year old Araba/ Lippizanner mare. My mare Missy is a strong-willed, fearless, cuddly and people-oriented young horse. What I am looking for: A reliable foster partner who will accompany us in the long term and later, of course, a driving and riding partner. Someone who doesn't have their own horse, but would still like to be involved in the training process from the very beginning. I am looking for someone who cares about the horse as much as I do and treats it as if it were their own horse. Someone who will exchange ideas with me and become a team with Missy, who will go on courses with us and continue to train and later ride in together. Groundwork lessons are compulsory (at least once a month at my trainer's expense) and later riding lessons.
What you need to bring: Good humor, consistency and a lot of love. You must know how to handle horses, everything else can be learned, either with me or my trainer. You don't have to have any experience with young horses or be extremely good at riding. It is much more important to me that you become a great team with her. Frequency, days of the week, etc. Everything can be decided completely flexibly. You should just stick to the agreements.
Our plans: This year we just want to get to know the world, lead training, going for walks, ground work. Next year she will be slowly broken in as a carriage horse and at around 4.5 years old she will be slowly broken in.
Missy lives in a great open stable where dogs and children are very welcome and a nice stable community is on hand.
The price should only include a contribution towards feed and hoof trimming.
