Grand’s Happy Go Lucky is an 8-year-old Missouri Fox Trotter with outstanding breeding and is sired by the well-known stud Grand Central. Lucky is a quality, solid, consistent horse that is smart and biddable. And just a nice, sweet boy. Height is 15.0
Lucky’s history includes being in the show ring and winning a 3rd placement at the Missouri Fox Trotter Celebration. I originally purchased Lucky as a companion for training and exercising dogs, but he would also make an excellent trail, plantation, hunting, or dog training horse. I am selling him due to rescue my own personal preference, as I would prefer a taller horse for field trialing further.
Lucky spent 2 months on the prairies of Missouri and ND before returning to Alaska this summer, so he’s well acclimated to the activity of dogs running around, the sounds of whistles and trainers’ calls, and even the noise of blank pistols firing. He ground ties well, allowing you to drop the reins while he remains steady. With a smooth gait, Lucky is a reliable and adaptable horse, as seen in the video where he works calmly with a trainer roading a dog in a harness.

Lucky is capable of embarking on a journey of 1,354.60 miles, based on your resting plan. He easily gets along with other horses and previously shared a pasture at camp with 12 unfamiliar horses. Lucky is an exceptional all around horse, making him a delightful addition to any stable. His diverse experiences allow him to meet various needs, and, on top of that, he is quite a handsome fellow!
