Have you been looking for a fly rug that doesn't turn your horse into a zebra? We have developed it for you: A very special fly rug with a difference! The ingenious black and white shading of the innovative Two Tone material cleverly imitates the insect-repelling zebra effect. The slightest movement of the mesh material creates a shimmering effect that confuses and deters insects as soon as they approach, without your horse looking like a zebra.
The blanket is perfect for giving your horse a break from annoying insects, whether in the box, in the stable lane, at the farrier, during ground work or during transportation. Your horse will love you for it!
The practical ''quick release'' fastener in the chest area allows the rug to be opened and closed in no time at all. To protect the chest and front area, the rug is lined with a chafe guard made of smooth fabric. The anti-slip patch on the inside of the croup area ensures that the rug fits well.
The rug is supplied with a tail cord and an elastic tail strap to ensure a secure fit. If you want even more support, order our practical cross surcingles or leg straps, which can be easily clipped to the hem of the rug.
Naturally, this fantastic rug comes with a practical and easy-to-attach neck piece. Perfect for all horses that need even more protection from pesky insects.
We do not recommend using the rug as a paddock or pasture rug, as the airy material is not designed for extreme loads, such as a hearty bite from a playmate, and can be damaged.
