Description Our AS feeding regulators are made in Germany from pleasantly soft cowhide. The riveted bottom plate is made of food-safe plastic.
The AS-feed regulator effectively regulates the feed intake. When eating, the horse puts the bottom on the grass and plucks it through the available slots of the bottom plate. This promotes slow eating, as well as thorough salivation of the food. The grazing period can be extended by carrying the basket and the horse does not have to be isolated from its herd. The horses are balanced and satisfied.
The acclimation period is exceptionally short. Most horses or ponies learn very quickly to handle this feeding regulator and accept it very quickly, due to the comfortable air freedom.
With the AS Feeding Regulator, horses can drink from tubs and/or buckets. However, some self-drinkers cause difficulties because they are too small. In our assortment we offer self-drinkers that allow the horses to drink despite the muzzle.
The feeding regulator is ideal for grazing in the spring and when moving to lush pastures.
