A special gelding is looking for the place of his heart - Even though it’s not easy for me, I’ve decided to find a new home for my Hugo, where he can continue to lead a happy and fulfilling life.

🐴 Personality

He’s an incredibly sweet and honest guy to be around; he’s people-oriented, cooperates well with everything, and shows his best side in everyday life. He’s currently in an open stable with two mares, which works very well. Within the herd, he ranks toward the top or middle of the pecking order, but is never unfair or mean to other horses.
🐴 Training & Work

A versatile recreational all-rounder who enjoys varied work. He is ridden Western-style for recreation and enjoys trail riding, groundwork, lunging, and circus exercises. He was trained using the Parelli method and learns quickly. He loves going out on trails, both alone and in a group. He is not suitable for beginners and requires an experienced, confident rider.
🚛 Transport

Due to a lack of experience with loading, he currently needs a side barrier to help him get started, as well as time and a calm environment. With regular practice, this can be reestablished. Once in the trailer, he remains calm and well-behaved.
🩺 Health

• Regularly vaccinated and dewormed • Teeth checked regularly • Farrier every 6 weeks • Shoed on the front
He has incidental findings that do not limit him:
• Front navicular syndrome • Mild osteoarthritis (right front leg—not clinically significant)
These were diagnosed several years ago and have been unremarkable ever since.

I’m looking for a loving forever home in an open stable setting where he can be part of a herd. This is simply the best living arrangement for him. Keeping him solely in a stall with little access to the outdoors is out of the question for me.
It’s especially important to me that he finds a home where he’ll continue to be well cared for, get regular exercise, and simply be allowed to be a horse. 🤎.
